ESOS STAFF RAISE OVER £800 FOR CHARITY
Staff at ESOS, and their families, raised over £800 at a fun-filled party held recently in the grounds of Meriden Hall.
The annual event was a combination of Charity Fundraiser and a ‘Thank you’ from the Board of Directors to employees for all their hard work during the last 12 months.
Visitors had the chance to battle with each other on the dodge-ems, try out the inflatable slides and form their own rock band on the X Box Rock Band computer game.
Other attractions included face painting, archery, a rotating climbing wall and tombola, while local Motown singer Trevor T provided live music and entertainment throughout the day.
Dave Cooper, Managing Director at ESOS, said: “This annual event is about more than eating and drinking and having a good time, although some of all of that does go on!
“Every year we invite local charities to the event and help to raise money for them. This year we welcomed the Meriden Methodist Church, Acorns Children’s Hospice and the Meriden Scout Troop, and managed to raise £840. We are pleased to help the community in this small way and hope to increase the amount raised next year.”
John Smith, Chairman of ESOS, said: “It’s great to see the ESOS employees here with their families having a great time! The main thing is that the employees get to know each other outside work while raising money for local charities. They work hard but they like to play hard as well!
“In our environment, where customer care is at the top of the agenda, great team work is required, and an event like this really helps.”
ESOS is based in Meriden and is the leading provider of outsourced payroll services in the West Midlands.
