Career Background: Throughout the whole of his career John Smith has developed a wealth of experience within IT (38 years in communications and management). He spent the first part of his working life within the manufacturing sector and moved into the Recruitment industry in 1980 with a remit to build the best front and back office systems environment in the whole of the UK recruitment industry. As a founder member and chairman of ESOS Ltd at its inception on January 1st 2004 he has brought his substantial amount of knowledge and expertise to the organisation and remains the true visionary that has set the course for growth for ESOS that has already placed it as a substantial player in the UK payroll outsourcing arena.

Dave Cooper, Managing Director
Career Background: After an initial career in accounting David Cooper moved into the sales arena, working in the Recruitment Industry for one of the largest businesses in the UK. He quickly gained promotion to Branch Manager, and at the time of joining the largest independent recruitment agency in 1980, had gained over six years experience of manning multiple sites and a team of personnel. During his time in the recruitment industry David worked in a variety of different roles involved in building new businesses, strategic planning, system integration and change management. With over twenty years experience at Director level and a wealth of expertise in business management and operational controls he took on the challenge of running the newly formed ESOS Ltd in January 2004. As Managing Director of ESOS Ltd he has steered the organisation through a significant growth phase and has helped create a business that is both stable and well respected within the outsourcing market sector.

Michelle Crook, Executive Director
Career Background: Michelle started her payroll career in 1993 with one of the big four banking organisations and moved to Capita when the operation was outsourced in 1995. During her time with Capita Michelle worked in a number of roles and on a number of different projects, gaining experience in all aspects of large volumes of in-house and outsourced payroll operations. She joined the Pertemps Group in 2000 as Payroll Manager and became an ESOS Ltd director on the demerger in January 2004. Michelle currently heads up all the payroll function for ESOS and holds the Diploma with the Institute of Payroll Professionals. Michelle has also completed the IOD Certificate in Company Direction.

We are proud of our company and believe we are one of the best kept secrets in the outsourcing industry. ESOS processes over 800,000 payslips annually, creates some 30,000 invoices per month and processes over 4,000 payments each month; and we are only just getting started!
